CompsHub currently provides card comps, collection management, collector profiles, discussions, and messaging. Direct listings, new Deal Rooms, and trading are disabled. eBay purchases take place on eBay. Transaction provisions below apply to historical activity and do not mean transaction features are currently available.

CompsHub Terms of Use and Trade Safety Agreement

These terms apply when you create an account, use collection tools, contact another collector, list a card, build a Deal Room, or submit a rating. By accepting them, you agree to the terms below.

CompsHub is a connection and recordkeeping service

CompsHub helps users organize collections, discover cards, communicate proposed deal terms, and record agreements. CompsHub is not a buyer, seller, broker, dealer, escrow service, payment processor, shipping company, insurer, authentication service, grading company, or party to any user-to-user transaction.

User-to-user transactions are at your own risk

You—not CompsHub—choose the other user, inspect the card information, decide whether to proceed, arrange payment and shipping, and resolve any payment, delivery, condition, authenticity, ownership, refund, chargeback, tax, or legal dispute. A Deal Room confirmation records what users entered; it does not prove that a card or payment is authentic, owned, sent, received, or as described.

Required payment safety

For any purchase arranged through CompsHub, users must use PayPal Goods & Services or another payment method that expressly provides applicable purchase protection. Never use PayPal Friends & Family for a purchase. Never pay by gift card, cryptocurrency, wire transfer, or another unprotected method at another user's request. Protection depends on the payment provider's eligibility rules, deadlines, exclusions, and current terms; CompsHub does not promise that a claim will be covered.

Your safety responsibilities

Before proceeding, verify the collector's identity and ratings, the exact card, front and back photos, grade, certification number, serial number, condition, price, shipping address, tracking, insurance, and the payment recipient. Keep screenshots and records. Stop if another user pressures you, changes payment information, refuses protected payment, or asks for verification codes.

Card-only galleries and deal completion

Public collection galleries are for sports-card photos only. Photos must pass our content check before other collectors can view them. Approval is not proof of authenticity, ownership, or value. Unrelated or unsafe images may be rejected or removed. Report mistakes or abusive content through Community & support. Profile pictures are separate from the card gallery.

Agreement and receipt are separate steps. Confirm receipt only after you have received and checked everything owed to you. Completion is self-reported, not verified delivery. CompsHub does not automatically transfer collection records or purchase costs; update your own inventory separately. Feedback is limited to one rating per counterparty and must reflect your actual experience.

Ratings and user content

Ratings are opinions submitted by users after completed Deal Rooms. They are not background checks, endorsements, identity verification, or guarantees. Submit only truthful, firsthand feedback. CompsHub may remove ratings or content, restrict accounts, preserve records, or cooperate with lawful requests when fraud, abuse, manipulation, threats, or other violations are suspected.

Valuation estimates

Card values, trade comparisons, market information, AI-assisted matches, and other estimates may be incomplete, delayed, or wrong. They are not guarantees, appraisals, financial advice, or offers to buy or sell. Confirm the exact card and independently research value before making a decision.

Your cards and account

You must provide accurate information and may list or offer only cards you lawfully own or are authorized to sell or trade. You are responsible for account activity, collection privacy, listing status, asking prices, card identity, condition, grade, and compliance with applicable laws and third-party payment or shipping terms. You must be at least 18 years old to arrange transactions through CompsHub.

Community discussions

Keep feed posts and comments relevant to cards. Do not post sales solicitations, payment links, spam, harassment, or private information. Posts may be checked automatically and removed by moderators. Report inappropriate content using its action menu; block unwanted contact from the collector’s profile.

Prohibited conduct

Do not commit fraud; impersonate another person; manipulate ratings; list counterfeit, stolen, or misrepresented cards; evade payment protections; misuse personal information; threaten users; upload unlawful material; interfere with the service; or attempt to access another collector's private information.

No transaction guarantee

To the fullest extent permitted by law, CompsHub is not responsible for user conduct or losses arising from a user-to-user transaction, including lost funds, lost or damaged cards, counterfeits, inaccurate descriptions, shipping problems, chargebacks, or disputes. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or liability that cannot legally be excluded.

Enforcement and changes

CompsHub may suspend or remove access to transaction features for safety or terms violations. Features and these terms may change; when a material trade-safety update requires renewed acceptance, CompsHub will ask users to agree again before continuing.

Legal review notice

These terms are an operating safeguard and should be reviewed by qualified counsel before CompsHub expands transaction volume, processes payments, charges marketplace fees, provides shipping labels, holds cards, or offers authentication or dispute services.
