Information we collect

CompsHub stores information needed to operate your account and requested features, including your email address, username, optional profile picture, collection records, uploaded card images, private purchase prices and values, Want List searches, card availability and asking prices, Deal Room activity, private messages and their read status, discussion posts and comments, ratings, terms-acceptance record, and app activity.

How we use it

We use this information to identify and secure your account, display and value your collection, match available cards to Want Lists, operate private messaging and discussions, maintain historical Deal Room records, improve card matching, process subscriptions, and prevent abuse.

What other collectors can see

Your username and profile picture may appear to signed-in collectors. Your collection appears on your profile only when you choose public visibility. Direct listings, trading, and public transaction ratings are disabled. CompsHub estimates and purchase costs remain private. Historical deal records may remain accessible to their participants for recordkeeping and support.

Sharing

We do not sell personal information. Service providers may process limited data to host and secure the app, store images, deliver login emails, process payments, provide card-market information, or support the features you request. Information may also be preserved or disclosed when reasonably necessary to comply with law, protect users, investigate fraud or abuse, or enforce the Terms.

Your choices

You can make your collection public or private, and delete your account inside CompsHub. Do not place sensitive personal or payment information in ratings or card descriptions.

Discussions

Feed posts and public-card comments are visible to signed-in collectors, subject to collection privacy and blocking. Text is sent to our AI service provider for an automated content check before posting. Card comments are hidden when the card is removed or its collection becomes private. You can delete your posts. Reports include the reported text for moderator review.

Private messages

Message photos are sent to our AI service provider for a content check before delivery and are stored privately for conversation participants. Rejected uploads are not saved or delivered. Reported attachments can be viewed and removed by moderators. These checks do not verify card authenticity or ownership. Private conversations are shown to their participants, not on public profiles. When you report a message, its text, attached photo, and your explanation are shared with moderators for review. Messages are stored by CompsHub; this is not an end-to-end encrypted messaging service. Do not send passwords, verification codes, or payment-card details. Blocking stops new messages but preserves the existing conversation.

Deletion and retention

When you delete your account, CompsHub deletes account data and card images under its control unless limited retention is reasonably necessary for security, fraud prevention, dispute records, legal obligations, or enforcement.

Community photos and safety records

Card photos are checked by our AI service before they can be shared with other collectors. Unapproved photos remain visible only to their owner. Reports, blocks, ratings, shared deal terms, and receipt confirmations are stored to operate community safety features. Deleting an account removes its profile and collection, but shared messages, deal and safety records may remain associated with a nonpublic account identifier for dispute handling and abuse prevention. These records do not make a former account publicly searchable.

We may update this policy as CompsHub changes. The date above identifies the current version.
